LISA ZODROW
Lisa Zodrow was
born in 1976 and raised in Princeton, WI. Lisa has been
associated with The Hunting Glass Studio since 2000, where
she assists in the hot shop and oversees the 100 plus
galleries The Hunting Glass Studio does business with.
Although trained as a glass blowing assistant, she began
creating her own hot cast glass in 2004.
“Cast glass appeals to me because I enjoy more of a
hands on approach to the development of my sculptural
forms. Being able to work on the positive in clay before I
pour the hot glass allows me to visualize the finished
works more clearly. I enjoy the way glass refracts light.
This helps me achieve a ghost like presence in my current
body of work, where I am trying to capture a feeling, or a
sense of history and antiquity.
